Letís just get all the storms and snow and floods and whatever else out of the way before next week.  It is our springbreak next week.  Our granddaughter that we are raising turns 6 next week and is getting a trampoline.  And I will have a house full of screaming and giggling girls.  They really need to be outside jumping and burning off energy.  So can someone please put in a request for Sunny and 70 for all of next week?  Thanks in advance! 🤪

It's been snowing good here for about a hour. If the ground was cold enough we would probably be at about a half inch right now. It's pretty falling though. ::snowman:: ::snowman::

I've been texting with my family back in NJ and they've been getting their projected totals upped on a regular basis. Right now, they're saying 13-17". And most schools will end up cancelling their spring breaks as the nor'easters they've already had have left them with few snow days if they have any left. My niece, who is a teacher, has been looking forward to her spring break trip but will now have to cancel.

Current HRRR still pretty generous with snow over parts of the area.

Its is snowing lightly now in Bellevue as well. You would think we were in Denver. Temperatures in the 60's one day and snow the next.

Snow pouring down this morning.  Nice coating on trees, rooftops and cars.  Surprised at the intensity this morning--and the short term models nailed it.  Temp 32F.

Nice pocket of heavier returns moving very little and sitting over the same area.  While other areas seeing very little.

Cold, cloudy, and some flurries in the valley.  There was just enough overnight to put a coating on elevated surfaces and dust the rooftops.  Maybe this last gasp of winter will mean a warm, sunny morning for our sunrise service on Easter this year.

Ended up with the ground covered here before daybreak (1/2 inch?), but it's already almost gone.  Agree with cgauxknox--over the token cold and Old Man Winter spitting snow at us.  Let's move on to spring, and hopefully next winter won't be such a disappointment.

May this winter burn in the flames of the coming spring.

And, hopefully, we won't die of heat stroke in the process.   ::hot::

Getting heavy snow showers coming through here this afternoon.  Instead of it changing to rain, all the precipitation has been snow.  It doesn't last long, or stick much, but when it comes down, it's more like a summer thunderstorm--sky gets dark and visibility goes way down.

It has snowed non-stop today, occasionally heavy.  Snowing moderately now, and with temperatures falling (down to 33), it might actually start to stick again.

But what a waste of snow.  If this had occurred back in our cold January, we would probably have 3-4 inches on the ground by now.

Well, Winter, you pretty much sucked this year.  ::shrug::
Please let 2018-2019 Winter be better!!!  ::fingerscrossed::

It's been fun following this thread all year, but time to stick a fork in this one.
