I love winter--during winter.  Now that April is fast approaching, I am ready for some better weather.  Days upon days of cloudy, rainy weather with temperatures in the 40's and 50's isn't conducive for getting outdoor work done.  Not to mention it's depressing.

Your first language is German, as I recall, right?

I can imagine that might make it a challenge with not only his misspellings, but left-out words, and the partial colloquialisms that probably come across as choppy incoherence.  ;)

Oddly enough- I can understand his posts most of the time (it's an advantage of being from around these parts). I imagine he types about like he talks.  ::guitar::

I grew up in a bilingual household, so I don't have too much of an excuse to screw my English up, and I've spent the better half of my young life in Tennessee. I do apologize if I seemed arrogant. It's only the way Bruce types that bothers me  ::rofl:: Don't worry, I don't think being country or Southern makes someone dumb, I promise!

After mulling it over during the coolish and wet start to spring thought I'd share my winter rating:
D+
Had 2" total snow for the year. February was a torch. Only thing saving it from an F was the 4 or 5 day stretch where we had some snow cover and dropped to 0.

I know we all want to this thread to die already, but it is worth mentioning the snowstorm forecast to clobber Kentucky and West Virginia during the first week of April.

Cut the silly bickering, y'all (you know who you are).  ::shaking_finger:: This thread will fade away on its own soon enough. In the mean time, if someone wants to talk about a snowstorm wherever, so be it.

Once we get to the summer months, winter will just be a far away dream, unless someone wants to talk about snow storms in the Chilean Andes at that point, lol.  ;)

::rofl:: I am heading to Chile and Argentina to ride this Summer. Last year got crushed by a injury, this year I am healthy thank goodness. Valle Nevado vs Portillo with 2 days in Cerro Catedral/  Bariloche. Portillo did not do very well, with further South really scoring some large snowfalls.

Latest GFS shows several cold shots with possible frost & freezing temperatures in early April.  The winter that never showed up in February won't leave now.

Oh, and it shows rain.  Lots and lots of rain.
Egggzalent!

Put on my big snow boots and
I boarded the plane
Touched down in the land of the Delta Blues
In the middle of the freezing rain

Snow up high
Won't you pour down over me
Yeah, I got some accretion
But I'm as blue as a boy can be
