Former intern at OHX, Trevor, who is now a met at NWS San Antonio offered this brilliant commentary concerning the bust vs. legit event debate:

UPES, FTW.

Agree.  I understand busts on snow forecasts but severe wx when people lose their lives.  These pathetic so called human beings that complain should be there when those parents of the parents of the baby that was saved have to bury their own kids & that baby parents.  Just maybe they might shut up next time a severe outlook busts & be thankful.

FEMA still hasn't been activated.
Earth transforms sunlight's visible light energy into infrared light energy, which leaves Earth slowly because it is absorbed by greenhouse gases. When people produce greenhouse gases, energy leaves Earth even more slowly raising Earth's temperature. http://www.howglobalwarmingworks.org/

I'm wondering if FEMA will still be around with the new administration.  I think they are still too worried about the election.  Oh, wait.  It's over.

Moving on . . .
