The Tropics
« on: July 30, 2014, 08:46:51 AM »

Looks like there is an area of interest in the tropics.
Any thoughts?

Will it continue to develop or is there enough sheer to rip it to shreads when it gets closer to the GOM

If it develops/maintains at all (itself a big question)...the trough pattern over the east is not going anywhere so there will be a safe recurve off the E Coast. Not a US threat much less a GOM threat.
