Sitting at a balmy 43 here. TDOT used a TON of brine on the roads today. I cannot understand why. I don't even think we will see many icy patches tomorrow morning except perhaps on elevated roadways. Someone must have told them I washed my car on Wednesday.

Decent snow shower and we have our dusting...hoping for a measurable snowfall. LOL! Pretty sad it has come to this. At least next winter can't be worse, I mean really...it can't.

Really windy right now in Woodlawn, there is the front. Snowing at the moment, looks like narrow band coming through now. ::popcorn:: ::snowman::

Pretty heavy snow right now here in Antioch.  Won't last much longer, but still, pretty.

Got a flurry dusting in East Nashville.

Looking at sim radars, hrrr, etc - I have a feeling that when the sun comes out we could get some nice flizzard action - with temps well below freezing, could get an additional dusting.

With the energy rotating through around noon, I'd say that would be the best time for convective snow showers.

Really jealous of the 30dbz squalls showing up around paducah... hoping we can get one of those today.

Pretty good snow shower moving through South Nashville now, laying down a new dusting, even sticking on our street.

In downtown Chattanooga we've graduated from flizzard to full blown snow shower. It's 29 degrees.

Sun's been peaking out regularly the past hour or so. Is this a good thing? Thinkin' convection...leading to those greater dbz's (kinda like 1/2/12)...just lookin' for any hint of a surprise. Seems like the current winner in on the west side of Chatty at the moment...

3 inches here on wind-protected, elevated surfaces. Nice wet snow that clings to everything and creates a winter wonderland...but it's still no match for the mid February sun even at 24 degrees.
