I would say we ended up with between 5-6 inches total here north of I-40. Some flooding in the usual low spots but nothing drastic like May '10 thankfully...this was more like the recent '11 spring flooding we experienced, just without the Mississippi wreaking havoc  :)

5.59 at KMEM thus far.
6.19 at West Memphis.

It's been raining to some degree since between 8 and 9 am yesterday.

I'll be glad to see it go. It was miserable going to and from class/interning today.

After all the concern leading up to this, it looks like we'll do well to get an inch of rain out of it, if that.  ::rofl::

Looks like the NWS has the Nashville area in the 2 inch range.

I think there was short period where the system became semi-convectively charged.  We had a fairly intense rain squall pass through Murfreesboro yesterday.  I'm sure that added to some of the totals.

Yeah, I had a few rumbles of thunder as it passed through last night in HSV.  Nothing spectacular, but it did cause the rain to come down a bit heavier.
Don't knock the weather. If it didn't change once in a while, nine out of ten people couldn't start a conversation.

Thunder woke me up this morning. I was surprised, to say the least.
