Voted Dec 16-31.
I think the pattern that will be established early on will be the best chance for an accumulating snow. -NAO may fade by Jan into Feb reducing our chances of snow. Jet structure will make it especially favorable in Dec for our first snow IMHO. Temps will just need to get there which I think will set in late Dec.

I see Jan 1-15....Why? I have no reasons...
Except that I can remember how excited I used to be to have Christmas vacation extended...
I'm so scientific....

I voted November 16-30... for no scientific reason at all.
We're just overdue for a November snowfall. It's happened before.

I voted for the first snowfall to occur between November 16-30. So, I'm certainly rooting for next week's "maybe...just maybe" event (to quote the NWS).
Whether I think it's likely at this point... remains to be seen.

Well, it looks like my hopes for something 11/16 - 11/30 have busted. But, I may claim a victory anyway with the light accumulations that occurred on parts of the Cumberland Plateau on November 20.
Those of you who voted for the first half of December are up next. Don't disappoint us!
