Looks like Nate is expected to become a hurricane any time now with his winds of 70mph....But the models seem to have converged this evening on the Tampico Mexico Area as a landfall point due to mid level ridging turning this WSW near 25N.

But as expected..Nate is turning into a well organized Microcane

It wouldnt surprise me if he turns into major Hurricane by tomorrow if he can keep the dry air at bay

There is dry air to his NW in plentiful supply

It looks like a hurricane FAIL with this one...and to think there was people on other forums saying this could go thru some major RI and possibly become a CAT5..I even thought it might become a 3.

This is starting to look more like a subtropical storm...storms seem to be having trouble staying purely tropical this year..but it could just be the dry air ::shrug::

At any rate i'm kind of doubting if ever becomes a hurricane before landfall.
