I really have no idea if it had anything to do with the cool weather, but not a single one of my fruit trees bloomed this year. That includes two different kinds of apple tree, pears, peaches and plums.

Blooming was terrible here, too. But the blooming season was relatively warm, compared to normal, so I don't think cold weather played a role.

For whatever the reason, though, my apple trees and pear trees didn't bloom well at all. The only thing that did okay was cherry.

Mine didn't have a single bloom. Neither did my uncle's who lives in Jacksboro.

I wonder if it's all of East Tennessee who just the Plateau areas that had the problem.
