Still looks like problems with the MWN iPhone app. People who had downloaded previous versions either can't download or are experiencing crashing. If you download for the first time (new) you shouldn't have a problem...but DO NOT upgrade to StormWatch+ capability because that's another problem area affecting all users.

Best information says this is an Apple issue, not an app issue, and the development team is working with them right now on fixes. Always something!

Radarscope obviously. I also use WeatherGeekPro...which is another model app with images from the NCEP site. Wx Alert USA is another one for push notification alerts (doesn't have them polygon-based however).

That's about all I have to offer in addition to what we've discussed already. I'm sure there's more out there that others can advise on. I don't use a lot of weather apps on my iPhone, mostly as either a backup or just when I'm away and unable to check anywhere else.

EDIT...forgot to add...I also really like Aeroweather. Its for surface observations...its aviation focused but if you're looking for something to do METARs well...that's the one to go for.
