OK...apparently reason why NWS webpage has Tsunami Watch as "White" (and still not displaying) is because they've never set-up their web pages to display them...only the Warning and Advisory.  ::shrug::

Literally the only area of the entire Pacific basin not in a warning is the US West Coast - and they're in the watch...that is I believe unprecedented (closest would be the Chile quake but still wasn't this widespread)

Wild that as far south as Antarctica is under a Tsunami Warning.

Thank God that people in other countries are able to "prepare" for this. Places like Hawaii have an approx. time in which to expect it.

Actually, Japan had a fairly quick warning for it...  just not nearly as much in advance as other locations.

On another note, they're still feeling aftershocks in Japan... pretty decent ones, too.

Okay. I absolutely HAVE to get some sleep.   Otherwise I'd be watching this all night and all day tomorrow.

Goodnight, and let's PRAY nothing too bad happens to anyone else out there...

One aftershock the size of the Loma Prieta quake...

Not sure...

Will note a few areas of the coast went to an advisory vs warning mainly Southern CA...but most areas went to warning...
