With the last freeze coming somewhere in or near early April for most of our posting area I think it is safe to say that a couple of warm weeks doesn't portend the commencement of spring.

Several models are starting to advertise a snow threat around 200 hrs out. Certainly possible but will have to wait to see if its legit ::popcorn::

Pardon me while I FALL OVER LAUGHING. :)
Don't knock the weather. If it didn't change once in a while, nine out of ten people couldn't start a conversation.

Both the 12/27 12Z GFS and ECMWF hint at a few wrap around snow showers next Sunday, March 6th, with 2m temp near freezing.

CMC drops some more artic like air into the south but this is one of the weirdest systems that I have seen modeled in a while, and I truly dont see how the cold air is getting involved but the models say it will. I still am not really buying the snow threat yet, we'll see though ::lookaround::

If the mountains cash in with snow on this one I'm heading to Del Rio on a shine run.  Perfect prelude to festival season.  ;)
