No prob...the old topic posts ("Monday, Monday") still have the title so you can find your posts, but ALL are now merged under the current topic "Feb 7-8 Possible Snow." Post away. ;D

Maybe we are all just getting confused by the multiple threats of snow.  Its so unlike Memphis to have one a week...

A TRANQUIL WEATHER PATTERN BRINGING FAIR SKIES WILL DOMINATE THE REGION.

There has been at least one a week basically since the 15th of December for somebody in the state. It's been a heck of a winter.
Winter 2009-10 Snowfall: 11.5 in. :)
Winter 2010-11 Snowfall: 15.5 in. :)

Just cant get too excited over this as surface temps still look a tad too warm for the Memphis area. It could most certinly mix and change to snow but I am not at all confident about accums.

I still think its going to be too warm for most...maybe NW and N-Middle Sections can get a minor accumulation event...otherwise it seems to be a mixing situation at best while at above freezing temperatures = little/no accumulations. If models trend colder...that could change...but right now I don't bet on it...

Which could be a good thing in terms of Snowtorious B.I.G....

Yea, it will probably get close. As I was stating last week this would be mainly rain with a few backside flakes possible outside of the higher elevations. Southerly winds along with this systems orientation screams that you will warm up ahead of this system pretty good.

Yep...when a big storm is forecast, you generally want no surprises (unless they're really great ones).
