Autumn regime settling in
« on: September 14, 2006, 06:19:47 AM »
The movement of fronts and troughs is becoming more progressive in our part of the world (always a neat thing to notice in September).  I believe the summer doldrums are over.  We're expecting highs in the 70s today and lows in the 50s tonight.  Then, we warm back up to some more summerlike upper 80s by the weekend... only before the next shot of autumn air knocks us back down to 70s and 50s by early next week.

Enjoy!  8)

Hopefully we'll get some cool weather before the strengthening El Nino warms us up for the fall/winter season. I would really like a good cold harsh winter just once more (it's been a very long time since we've had one).

BTW, I added seasonal forecast graphics to my Major Announcement post in Winter Weather forum.
