Good one.
I've said this before...I may not be the most enthusiastic snow forecaster around here...but I'm not sure there's anybody that loves it more than I do. Many near-sleepless nights this winter alone to prove it watching these events unfold.
You are like a spurned lover, one with an unquencheble thirst for the unrequited love of being buried until spring.
However, Kevin, it will happen one day. One day, this city will get another 20" winter and, hey, we're within one great storm of getting it this time. Heck, it's still January and we don't even require breaking the all-time single-storm record to have the snowiest season ever.
So, let all of these models figure out what is going to occur in the first 10 days of February...Memphis will be entombed but not in sand like its ancient namesake, but in snow and ice. A pyramid along a great river covered not in sand, but in 20" of pristine and icy whiteness that will shut the city down for days on end.
