yea i saw that to but thing is it will be night time not day time so they might stick better.

That won't matter. We only got to 28F in BG today, so all the snow that fell did stick...problem is that the water content in the flakes is so small, that it will take a whole bunch of it to even make for a dusting of snow. The same thing will happen tonight too.

How much snow? ::snowman:: Are you out of school?
AND A LOT CAN CHANGE BETWEEN NOW AND THEN.

We're working on 48 hours of snow flakes falling almost constantly from these snow flurries and have finally managed to put about an inch on the ground here at the house...local schools are on their second consecutive snow day, which is VERY unusual for early December even on the northern Plateau, where Coach B will tell you they cancel school at the drop of a hat.  ;D (Yesterday's school closure was very much justified. Secondary roads were quite slick. I'm not sure about today. When I came in last night the snow was just blowing off the roads and not falling at a rate high enough to cause any problems, while the ice from yesterday morning had managed to melt or evaporate in most areas.)

Plateau county schools are beginning to close...

The snow echo returns are increasing across northern middle TN. Highest returns are around Macon County and Allen County, KY. Not sure how heavy the snow is, probably just a light snow...but if it is anything like yesterday morning was here, some of those flakes could get pretty big in size.

Congrats!  Won't argue about that kind of school closing. I'm all for it! :)

WWA's issued for the northern Cumberland Plateau. 1-2" of snow is possible in these locations, thankfully most schools are closed in the advisory locations and I would assume the others who have not yet closed may do so very soon, road conditions will not improve all that much in these areas today.
