Woke up to a nice coating of snow on the driveway and patio...maybe less than a 1/4".

Woke up to about .3 inch slightly less mostly on grass, and cars, but talking to my parents earlier in the night, there was a half inch.  First measurable snow in my early in November since at least 1996.

I checked traffic cams over there around 9 o'clock this morning and it had already melted. It was really no more than a coating of snow.

Oh yeah....whatever was on elevated surfaces is gone now.  As Clay said, it was really nothing more than a coating.

I am wondering about the potential for 1-2 inches next Tuesday night and Wednesday. The GFS is showing about 24 hours of snow. The DGEX snow map shows around an inch over most of the Plateau. Jackson NWS office is giving temps about 10 degrees colder with snow showers vs Morristown who is playing is super close to the vest and saying rain showers with highs in the mid 40s Wednesday.

Scratch that, Morristown has taken precip out of the forecast for Wednesday now. Meanwhile Jackson NWS has 50% snow showers for Wednesday about 10 miles from my area.

You mean Jackson KY, right? Not sure how "JAN-like" they are.
