32.7 here... so, only bordering on a very light freeze at worst.

Lower 20s expected the next two nights though... here's to hoping that those forecasts are too low.  It doesn't look good for new tender vegetation though.

This morning's AFD says that this has the potential of being the coldest Easter morning on record.

There'll be alot of chilly young 'uns Easter Egg Hunting this weekend for sure!!

YIKES!!

I hope it doesn't get as cold as they say either..

29.2 this morning.  We were slightly below freezing yesterday morning as well.  I noticed some of the volunteer vegetables popping up in the compost pile were already tinged from the light freeze yesterday.

That wind was absolutely brutal yesterday afternoon.

Also covered my peonies and hibiscus, along with the azalea bush and MOST of my strawberries...

I have some kind of flowering bushes out front (they may be azaleas, but I'm not sure... they were here when I moved here).  I didn't even think out doing anything for those.  ::)  Oh well.

I just looked out at my tulip poplar tree... and the new leaves looked "crumpled."  :(

I have 24.6 here.

Didn't think to cover my Snowball bush though.. :o

Will have to check that out later.

23.4 here.

There's more of a frost this morning than there was yesterday.
