Siler was on channel 2 in nashville, he started there in the mid 70's and as I explained earlier he was very popular in the mid late 70's for his winter weather predictions. He stayed there until sometime in the 80's. He once predicted a storm 2 weeks out over in Japan and came within hours of his prediction of when it would hit and he hit accumilations also. He became immensely popular and the other stations were leary because he would go out on a limb and he was hitting these storms. The 70's were gold for siler, but in came the 80's and his popularity faded. The "weather wizard" was a name tagged on him during the 70's.
