We somehow managed a dusting here. We had nearly a inch of slush last night but it changed over to straight rain and washed it all away. This morning we was able to pick up a dusting thats about it. Now we can all go down to New Orleans because thats were the next two potential systems seem to be heading.

We have heavy snow currently (visibility only to a few hundred feet) with large flakes. Put a dusting back on my brother's car in about 15 minutes... ::snowman::

Here are some pics taken.  I couldn't get out so I had my sister in law take them.  I did get out for 2 minutes to measure 5.2 inches.

I can't tell if snow to rain to snow is worse than being all rain or not. So frustrated with the possibilities

It still snowing here.  Campbell is closed, schools are closed.  Roads look fairly clear though I haven't been out yet.  The blinkers on the jeep went haywire yeserday so I have to find out why.

Last night when I went to bed, we had about 2" or so.

Those are great pics Stormnine!  Looks like we might not get cold enough before the last of the precip filters through.

Sure was pretty last night though.  Right now, very cold and water, water everywhere.   :-\

I'll take more of that please.   ;D

EDIT....NOW IT IS SNOWING!  Okay...well...more like a Precip-Triple Play... sheesh...

;D

1/2" of snow is less than an hour here and that is accumulating on wet surfaces. Heavy snow continues to fall and more is back west heading this way. ;D

Wow, its easy to tell when the arctic front comes through...temps dropped roughly 5 degrees in 30 minutes and the wind is howling, blowins the snow around.

Will do Michael. 1"-1.5" is not out of the question when all is said and done. I will be satisified with those totals.

Roadways are covered and will deteriorate rapidly with the snow piling up on them.

1" of snow as of 9:30...may squeeze out 1.5" of snow before this passes. My temp. is wanting to increase though. Up to 33.1F and is making me sweat a bit. ::hot:: :-\

::bangingheadintowall:: Our temp. has rose to 34.4F and the snow is starting to melt. Have a little over an inch and the snow is beginning to wind down. Let's hope this colder air moves in and lets us keep this snow. Geez...
