euro looks good and GFS shows something could be there...not too far out. i only got 2 inches here for this storm but i would take a repeat!

Need to keep an eye on this. OHX has a 40% chance for rain Thursday night with a low of 33F...close right now.

Thursday Night: A chance of rain and snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 31. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Friday: A chance of rain showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 41. Chance of precipitation is 40%.

Friday Night: A chance of snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 33. Chance of precipitation is 50%.

I'll be watching the Euro, and ignoring the other models. Right now it looks like a miller A giving nashville snow showers for the weekend, but there could be a northwest trend. We'l just have to wait and see.

Yeah, both the Euro and GFS show a storm next weekend and although 850 temps aren't bad 2m temps look to be above freezing for most of the event at the moment...worth keeping an eye on.

If the 850 temps were below 32 degrees, wouldn't that be a freezing rain event???

if the surface is not below freezing I don't think you can have frz rain

Thats not what the case was this time around, the mid levels of the atmoshere warmed up, my surface temp stayed around 30.
