Cloud Formations
« on: June 25, 2009, 01:32:06 PM »
Since the weather is slow right now...I thought I would start a new thread about the coolest cloud formations you have ever seen. Post pics too if you can!

I saw yesterday evening on the way home from church, a Space Shuttle to the north and and 747 jet to my west. It was pretty cool.

This is sad I have to start a thread on this to get something going in here. ::rofl:: ::doh:: ;)

Well...the last couple of days....I haven't seen ENOUGH cloud formations, so I'm interested in seeing what others have seen.

I'm with you.  I'd love to see a bank of cumulus congestus building off in the distance working it's way towards my front yard.  Alas however, it'll be September before I see one of those again.   :(

I guess one of the coolest cloud formations I’ve seen are probably cloud streets. It’s neat how they organize themselves into rows.
