I don't mind if the roads are frozen too long in the morning... just as long as I get out of school.
Had to cover some of my moms flowers earlier this afternoon...not fun when it is snowing and sleeting on ya. I'm still thinking that even if we don't see accumulation here, the area roadways could still be pretty bad if we drop to say 27-28ºF and the roads ice over. Foretunatly in April, it won't take long for them to unfreeze and just become wet again.
No freeze here this morning at least. I have a current temperature of 34.Fortunately, it doesn't look like many areas dipped much below freezing. With tomorrow morning's low forecast in the low 30s, maybe we have a chance to actually get through this cold snap without a damaging freeze (widespread anyway). If winds calm enough tonight, I suppose frost could be the main threat to sensitive plants.
10 inches at Leconte this morning....still snowing.

The radar returns have really been cranking up over the last hour to the northwest. If if hold out till sunset, we may have another shot at a dusting tonight.
Probably some instability convective showers (snow showers?) developing with day time "heating" (using that term relatively speaking). The April sun can have some interesting effects with a system like this.
I meant to check and post this earlier, but my morning got away from me:
