********* Euro shows us getting .375QPF early Sunday morning. We are north of the zero line 00z Sunday, then by 06z 850 is -4c, then -8c by 12z sunday.Surface low tracks from central Alabama to just north of Atlanta. Beautiful setup were this to verify. I have been screaming that there has been potential lately. I would love to make true on that. Even tho it is the Euro its still in the 4+ day range.

Well this has my attention now.  Not really a true clipper is it?  Looks more like a combo type deal.

12z EURO is a full fledged gulf low working with some cold air as it comes in...most likely a change to snow or frozen precip. Actually it is a pretty big hit for most of the state. Nice to at least see some consensus for some frozen precip on all of the models almost statewide.

Low track would be a NOLA to Dothan to DC track...meaning a nice winter event for the state IF it pans out. We all know what happened 2 weeks ago, right?  ;)

Wow! The 2/17 12Z Euro is either catching on to something or on crack. As noted above it spins up a low in Georgia and dumps up to 5 inches of snow on TN Saturday evening.

Hopefully, this pans out. i guess I'm still pretty jaded after the last non-event.  If the models still have this by Thursday, I'll jump on the bandwagon.   12z Euro looks quite a bit different than past runs.  Maybe it's picking up on something legit and we'll all be happy campers.  ::guitar::

Yes, we do.  ;)

That's why I still hold the "believe it when I see it" view.

Interesting possibilities in the models though.

No offense to anyone, but I think I'll jump on board as the train pulls into the station Friday night.

Sounds like this is an event that could even bring some snow to Clarksville.  Might not get as much as you folks a little more East of me.
