Thanks for the bacon...I know this is a favorite (with me too) and I'm walking in territory that might get me in trouble (off subject) but this is for all of you...

We're still a few days out. We'll see how it turns out. I wouldn't throw in the towel yet. Although I am ready to bring reverse psychology in play. Yay southeast trend, please let there be no snow for Tn. Cold and dry!!!  ::evillaugh::

Right On.  Mr. Ed Winters.
Well said.

If I could have my way I would just throw those DANG models in the trash and allow this great historic figure to tell us what will happen that day.

Mr. Brantley,
Its so funny that when I signed on just now and went to the last post it was yours.  Because I was just thinking the same thing today.  Mankind can control alot of things in this world. But weather is not something we can control.  All week I have watched several forums and was so pumped up thinking we might get the "big one" for this winter.  It was kind of sad today when I saw what the models were doing to us.  But you did say it right.  We just can't control Mother Nature, if we could, then we would not have Hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, and other devastating disasters.  We have tried but it just hasn't happened.  That was a great article and what you said was the truth. Thanks!
 ;)

Someone on accuweather says the NAM has a better handle on the system, and the gfs is wacko.

I have read and watched several different met's forcast's and they all still have us in the game for monday and left over snow showers on tuesday. Of coarse none of them were willing to put their neck on the chopping block to forcast any type of posible accumilations. Hopefully the pros see something in all of this.

18z GFS ensembles support the NAM with a decent snow across most of the state...maybe a little higher amounts southern west and southern middle? I am no expert though...maybe Kevin can shed some more light on this.
