No, 32ºF is still freezing no matter what. The only reason it is falling as freezing rain is becuase of the warm air in the upper atmopshere making it fall as frz. rain. If we didn't have that warm air aloft...we'd be getting a good...great snow event.

I agree. 0°C / 32°F is freezing point of water. Fog though, won't freeze until about 15°F. Until that it is considered super cooled water.

Light shower had a slight effect.  After being at 36.7 for a couple of hours, I just dropped two tenths to 36.5.

It had a big effect on my temp. We hadn't been able to break 32.5 all day and this light rain has now dropped the temp. to 31.8 on weatherunderground. First time it (below freezing reading) has shown up on their site...

Don`t take Me Wrong But Isn`t  31.8 ° the same as 32 ° ( rounding off to the nearest Whole degree ) ?
 Or 32.5 ° really 33 °

Even the National Weather Service Wants their Cooperative Stations to report in Whole Degrees.

Technically yes, but would snow stick at 32.4ºF or whatever other degree facotr over 32ºF solid? Or would it have to be right at 32ºF for it too stick? Same goes with tonight's event...

Yes : I believe Snow would stick on the ground at 32.4 ° : which really is 32 °
Maybe NOT on concrete.

Isn`t All of the National Weather Services Thermometers about 6 feet ABOVE the Ground.  The ground temp might be just a tenth or two different from 6 feet higher.

When Someone reports 29.9 ° : thats really 30 °
29.5 ° is really 29 °  If the temp is in the falling process.

29.5 ° is 30 ° IF the temp is in the Rising process.

I hope I`m NOT sounding too Picky ?

Thank`s Clay from MTWC for telling me about the alt 0176 making the ° symbol.

If it's coming down hard enough snow can stick even if it's 34 or 35.
