We are still at 32.8ºF here. Did drop to 32.5ºF for a time but bounced back up. Lafayette is down to 35.1ºF per weatherunderground and at 30ºF per NOAA. That's a big difference.
The way the cold air is in place Nashville actually stands a higher chance for accumulating ice than many on the Plateau. With this shallow cold air in place elevation isn't going to necessarily help them.Current: 35.7°
I'm kinda surprised that the Highland Rim isn't really being mentioned for ice. The temps up that way are typically lower than here in the valley, yet we have had more attention giving to us!
