We are still at 32.8ºF here. Did drop to 32.5ºF for a time but bounced back up. Lafayette is down to 35.1ºF per weatherunderground and at 30ºF per NOAA. That's a big difference. :)

I'm kinda surprised that the Highland Rim isn't really being mentioned for ice. The temps up that way are typically lower than here in the valley, yet we have had more attention giving to us!

The way the cold air is in place Nashville actually stands a higher chance for accumulating ice than many on the Plateau. With this shallow cold air in place elevation isn't going to necessarily help them.

At the onset, our temperatures up here are going to be similar to the greater Nashville area (we're at 34.0 right now). But a big difference is the air is more moist over here. Whereas Nashville's dewpoint is in the low 20s, our dewpoint is actually slightly above freezing here. So evaporative cooling isn't going to be a big deal. I expect that our temperatures on the Plateau have pretty much bottomed out for the night.

On the intellicast current conditions. They have Westmoreland at 32ºF and Lafayette at 30ºF. So I guess anything that falls will freeze...

No, 32ºF is still freezing no matter what. The only reason it is falling as freezing rain is becuase of the warm air in the upper atmopshere making it fall as frz. rain. If we didn't have that warm air aloft...we'd be getting a good...great snow event.
