That's what I'm thinking. We'll have the door open for some good systems roll on through in Jan. Be nice if we could get something to block that northeast/northwest trend. It sucks playing the 50miles north or south game.

OHX this morning spilling the beans about the next possible wintry precip. Will have to see if they hold on to that this afternoon.

Quote
THE UPPER TROUGH WILL MOVE BY MONDAY MORNING LEAVING THE CWA IN WEAK
NORTHWEST FLOW ALOFT INTO MID-WEEK...THEN RETURNS TO SOUTHWEST
FLOW LATE-WEEK. NORTHWEST FLOW WILL BRING A WEAK COLD FRONT ACROSS
THE REGION EARLY WEDNESDAY BUT PCPN IS NOT EXPECTED WITH ITS
PASSING. THUS NEXT CHANCE OF PCPN SHAPING UP FOR THURSDAY
NIGHT/FRIDAY... WITH MIXED PCPN POSSIBLE FRIDAY NIGHT AS ANOTHER
SHOT OF COLD AIR SPILLS INTO THE DEEP SOUTH

I hope they are right about wintry weather 'spilling' in our area!

The theme continues.... 18GF...... Its in the long range but given what you see and the 6 hour gap we do not see, we get hammered with snow will cold reloading behind it. Come tomorrow night, I might just make a thread about this threat. We are moving forward and its almost time to start discussing....

Starting to come together. Well see. Gotta remember though, 278hrs is very far out.  I take that more as a trend of cooler air right now more than anything. If anything that would be a likely time to see such a system.
