Occasional flurries in Kingsport. Brisk wind. Many school systems let out early for some reason. Must be snow or ice somewhere.

Woke up a little before 5 this morning and happened to look outside and see a few snowflakes under the streetlights, which was about the only way to see it. Barely more than flurries, IMO. Nothing sticking with temps not falling much below 36 the whole night. There may have been a little more before or after that but it was nothing worth staying up for.

I missed the snow this am, but must have been under the only heavier band in the area. All rooftops were solid white and there was a dusting on the ground. Lasted a whole 2 hrs...

Well...just came back from errand-running in some fit-spittin' snow....Kinda nice to see it out there.

Bring on the next system, this has just whetted my appetite ... ::snow::

i was headed back to Bellvue on I-40 west around white bridge and there was a brief area of sleet that was really coming down hard. The interstate was covered lightly for a 1/4 mile or so. Nice little treat to start off December. I am still holding to December 15th for a more widespread snowfall. There is lurking around in the Ensembles since the 6Z GFS that I am looking at. Take a look for yourself starting @ 102 hours. Dare I say it.

Just have to let the model runs roll out. I hope this one doesn't  ::drowning::

We may get a little snow here and there, but I don't look for any real snow until March (after everything starts blooming).

Well, according to the NWS, things are going to start freezing up, and we may be dealing with freezing rain and ice tonight and tomorrow.  I'm sure it'll be a busy night on the scanner for law enforcement.

Whoa! Just went to the sliding glass door and the porch and ground is covered with snow. Not a lot, but just enough to coat it. Heck, I never even knew it was falling! But as of right now, there is no precip.

We had some extra snow last night and it gave us another light dusting again, but we have yet to close schools. Sumner is out (which NEVER happens ::panic:: ) and Clay and Jackson are 2 hours late. I'm going into Hulk mode this morning.

Thanks Clay! My parents work in Portland and at the red light in Westmoreland they said that people turning to go to Gallatin where spinning their tires...and that's on a main road. So it was a good call for Sumner to close and I knew if it was that bad their...then here couldn't be much better. So I'm happy again.  ::guitar::
