Awesome stretch of weather right through Saturday.  Perfect temps, low humidity, crystal clear blue skies.  Good time to play hooky.

Down to 35F this morning with more frost than yesterday morning, actually.  Should be the last frosty night until next week, when even colder air could make inroads to our area.  In the meantime, enjoy the perfect weather this week.

Definitely no signs of fall severe wx season through the next 2 weeks.

Almost certain to be consistent 30's at night nearly statewide daily starting mid week. Euro has near -20 anomalies showing up.

In a moment of weakness, I caved...

We switched on the heat this morning (for the first time this season).  ;) ::cold:: ::sleeping::

No jacket till November. Most years I can make it. Haven't turned the heat on yet, but I think the family will be asking for it during the next cold snap if modeling is close to correct.

Tuesday morning I was up early enough to light the first fire of the season in the woodstove. Turned on the heat pump the last two.  ::blowtorch::
