Since when is 40's COLD..... Cool maybe but to be honest we don't see too much COLD weather down here :) But then I lived in alaska for a time, and in Ohio and my husband is from PA really thinks we are a bunch of nuts.

But bring on the Fall Weather --- I am LOVING it :)

That’s what troubles me. This notion that we have to take sides in this country now, you’re either with us or against us, Republican or Democrat, red state or blue state. No one looks at an issue and struggles over the right position to take anymore. And yet, our ability to reason is what makes us human. Lately, we seem so willing to forfeit that gift of reason in exchange for the good feeling of belonging to a group. We all just take the position of our team.”

It's all relative.  ;D

I would call 40s "chilly"... maybe not "cold."

30s and lower are probably cold.  10-20... very cold.  0-10... frigid.  Below 0... as Bill Hall used to say "Dangerously Cold!"

 ::cold::

Semantics.  ::pondering::

I LOVE the winter months. I'd take cool weather over warm weather anyday...don't hurt me people.  ;) Now what I don't like is when it is about 20ºF with no Snow. Now that is just uncalled for.  ;D

Wind-chill bothers me more than the temp. I don't mind 20's and up, but when you add a wind-chill with 40 something degrees then it's "cold".  Put a little drizzle on top of that and I'll be throwing a  ::rant::

Look at that temp diff.  Can I say layers if that verifies.  You need a jacket a long sleeve shirt and short sleeve shirt.  And by afternoon you need to discard the jacket and long sleeve shirt.

That wouldn't happen in the city though. Another thing is that the suburbs are forecasted to be warmer.  ???

I saw Jamestown and Crossville are foretasted 38 at the same time.  Yall wouldn't be cooler than the Plateau that wouldn't make too much sense.
