So, are you declaring winter over?  ;)

(That would be fine with me... especially if we're in for a week or more of warmer weather.  Once the trees start foliating, I am completely anti-winter at that point... we don't need another April freeze like last year...)

It snowed on March 31st, when I was born in 87. Winter is not dead yet.  ;D

I remember that storm.  I was in the 7th grade.  There were some girls with sunburns from a day or two before sitting next to me and we were wondering if we would see Snowbird on the air that night.

BTW, Spann mentioned a Voodoo land snowstorm around the 24th.  ;D

I may remember that one too.  It seems like there was this time when there was snow on the blooming hyacinths in our yard.  And, I remember snow being on the trees after a lot of them had started budding and putting out early leaves.  It was a strange sight.

That's a true winter weather fan, right there.  ;)

Snow is the furthest thing from my mind in June.

No more winter. Save the snow and cold for next January when it really counts.

Yeah, this late in the year, the sun melts the snow in like 2 minutes anyway.

I don't think the melting thing is all that bad - we still get to watch the storm develop and experience it, but then the next day it's all over and gone and we can fuh-git-about-it and move on to something else.  Not like January, when you may have to drive on icy roads for 5 days after a big snow.  That gets old REAL fast, IMO.

Earl Barker used to have a model that went out to 276 days but I can't find it. It was fun to look at all the voodoo storms!
