Do we need to start another good juju thread?

Maybe we can tell our best snowstorm stories?

I'm sure mine will win, but only because I was in Breckenridge, CO for their biggest snowstorm in 90 years....

I might have you beat. Lake Tahoe 3-6 Feet depending on elevation,  with another 4-5 feet the following 2 days. Winds were 100-125mph on the ridges.Overall 127" recorded Above 7000 Feet.

Heavy snow warning! Why would you want that!?!... I'd take a blizzard warning. hehe!!

Dude, at this point I'd happily take a snow advisory that actually panned out.

Yeah same here! Still the more the marrier! Well, the 18z still suggests a good 3-6 inch snow at least plus a little ice!

There has been some continuance out of the GFS for the medium range storm. Things like this can happen( maybe not to the degree of whats currently depicted). With the overall pattern trending we have weak +PNA which may actually be higher than what is being shown. Verification has been off pretty bad and its been underdone with whats actually happening at the moment. The Pv relaxes and we get some air push down from Canada. Some of the biggest storms happen during Teleconnection swings and when the overall pattern shifts. The MJO is also taking us into a favorable phase. This could be a March that makes up for the entire winter! My thoughts are still as they were before of a moderate snow event for the area during this time frame.

2-25 12z Euro is sooooo close to giving us a decent snow next week. It has the low cutting obliquely across TN next Tuesday the 4th. If the low were to track just a little to the south and slightly delay its northward turn we would be golden....big ifs. Definitely something to keep an eye on.l

I see a cold rain with the soon-to-be dreaded northwest turn.  Just sayin'...

Oz GFS still looks good for a changeover to an accumulating snow. One run down, 25 to go!

Not quite ready to bite yet....however, a blend of the latest GFS and Euro solutions would be verrrrrrrrry interesting.
