Just came in from Bowling Green, KY, where they had a coating a ice on cars, trees, powerlines, etc. But, the roads were just wet.
It was apparently pretty bad up there earlier this morning, when numerous accidents occurred on the icy roads.
It was raining pretty hard when we arrived into town with a car thermometer reading of 31 degrees. The trees had an icy glisten, and many of the parked cars were coated with ice. It's amazing what a difference an hour drive makes. Here, it's dry and in the 40s.
